Adi is an ambitious young guy who wants to become filthy rich by hook or crook. Against his girlfriend Nisha's better judgment, Adi puts together a ragtag group of misfits, and engages them in a crazy plot to rob a bank.

While his girlfriend operates the Vada-Pav Shop, he and his cohorts work in the basement on breaking into the bank. But everything gets upended, as the no-hope tunnellers get lost underground, while the Vada-pav shop, takes off. Wealth comes from an unexpected direction, helping them fulfill their dreams and thrusting Adi & Nisha into the upper echelons of Mumbai's high society. But there is an ancient jinx about getting everything you wish for...
